Activity splits: See how every workout really broke down
KULG has launched activity splits (lap times) and is now showing more than just the overall summary of a workout. This enables you to see exactly how an activity broke down, split by split, not just the average.
This major update paves the way for KULG Training assistant to analyse individual workouts in depth. Detailed workout analysis is coming soon for subscribers.
Every runner and coach can now see splits on desktop and mobile, for any activity that includes distance: e.g. running, cycling, swimming, etc.
What's new
Activities now have their own page. Every activity opens on a dedicated page with a shareable link, so a coach logged into your KULG account can open it directly and look at the same breakdown you do.
Name your activities. Give a workout a name to make it easier to find later. By default, KULG shows the title from your integration provider.
HR zone and pace at a glance. Every split is colour-coded by heart rate zone, matching the zone colours used elsewhere in KULG. Line length shows pace: the faster the split, the longer the line.
Choose how a workout is split. Break an activity down as recorded, or by 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, or halves, to see clearly how the activity progressed and whether you ran a negative split. The fastest split gets a badge icon and the longest line.
Full detail on desktop. Per split: distance, pace, HR zone, cumulative duration, split time, average and max HR, elevation gain, power, and cadence.
A focused view on mobile. Distance, pace, HR zone, split time, and average HR, built for a quick check mid-run or right after.
It works on your history too. Splits are available retroactively across your existing activity history, so past workouts are worth a second look.
What's coming next
This update is also the foundation for something bigger: detailed, per-workout analysis is coming soon for subscribers on Runner and Coach plans.
