At KULG, we believe in the power of process goals. Outcome goals set the direction, but whether we achieve them often depends on factors beyond our control. Completing process goals is up to us. You might not know if you’ll hit a 2:50 marathon, but you can run 400 km in a month to give yourself the best chance of success.

With GOALS, runners can now set and track the completion of weekly and monthly goals by distance, duration, or intensity in KULG App. This helps manage training load, maintain consistency, and avoid sudden spikes in volume or intensity that often lead to injuries or setbacks.

What’s different about the goals in KULG App?

  1. You can set a specific goal for each month or each week. Because let’s be honest - you shouldn’t just run the same distance each week or month.

  2. You can track the progress of your monthly or weekly goal progression. This will keep you accountable because you’ll see how much you need to do.

  3. You can see the history of your weekly and monthly goals - what was planned and what was actually completed.

  4. You can set goals not just for distance, but also for duration or high intensity. Some runners want to track the running time. Intensity progression is key.

  5. Your coach can also set the weekly or monthly goals for you. So now your coach can plan your weekly and monthly progression for you :)
