KULG featured in e-Residency's guide to startup investing

e-Residency just published a post on how to invest in Estonian startups and it tells a story close to home for us: how Philip Hogg, a runner and e-resident business angel from the UK, found his way to KULG.

From e-resident to business angel

Philip had held Estonian e-Residency for years, with a company registered but largely untouched. That changed after a conversation at a community event in London led to an introduction to Lauri Antalainen and the Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN). It was at one of EstBAN's pitching events that he came across KULG.

An investor who became a user

What started as curiosity turned into our first investment. But Philip didn't stop at funding. He became an active KULG user, training for marathons through the app and sending us honest, runner's-eye feedback along the way. He's since managed a personal best while using KULG, and he's remained one of our most engaged users ever since.

This September, he's back in Tallinn again - this time to run the Tallinn Marathon. Running brought him to Estonia in the first place. Seems fitting that running keeps bringing him back.
