Martin Tamm joins KULG as Head of Product and AI
Martin Tamm joins KULG as Head of Product & AI 🎉
Martin joins KULG with a clear mandate and strong vision, leading our product direction end-to-end - defining the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization to ensure we build the right things at the right time. His role also includes improving how we develop AI features, strengthening our competitive and market analysis, and shaping a clear UX and UI design strategy across the platform.
With his background in data analytics, Martin will also add more scientific structure to how we analyse human performance and training data, which is central to what we are building.
”My main goal is to help people get personalized, adaptive training plans, whatever their goals may be. Training should be prescriptive, not just descriptive. AI allows us to dig deeper into the data and understand the root causes behind performance. We want to prescribe training according to individual needs, in the simplest possible way, without overwhelming athletes or active people with irrelevant information. Our goal is to translate data into clear guidance and help people improve, instead of giving them complex manuals to figure out on their own.” Martin comments on his goals at KULG.
With deep expertise in AI and product development, he will strengthen the skills already present on our team. He will also bring strong ideas about how we can take the next step in our product, especially around adaptive, AI-powered training planning for runners and coaches, which aligns closely with where we see the future of KULG. As we continue to build tools for coaches, clubs, and runners, AI will play an increasingly central role in the product.
Martin linking running to his passion for science and data
Beyond his technical background, Martin is also a dedicated runner himself, with a 2:40 marathon and years of experience thinking about the same problems we have set out to solve with KULG. That combination of expertise and personal perspective makes him a great fit for our small team.
